They say you meet your life friends in college.
I didn't.
I met my life friends in high school. They're amazing...each one an extension of myself. Without them I don't know where I'd be. We're best friends, but we're more than that. We're family. When we get angry with each other, we generally let it be known. It doesn't ruin the friendship. It makes it stronger. It makes us who we are.
On Friday, a member of my family will be moving. To Florida. To those of you who don't know, I live in Ohio. An extension of myself is moving to Florida. On one hand, this terrifies me. Where will I be without Nikki? How can she leave me like this? But on the other hand, I think it's going to be alright. The friendship we all share can withstand this, right? We'll get through this! We have to.
Nikki and Judy came to see me at school today. We only had 30 minutes to hang out, but I had a blast! I love spending time with them! We talked about the old times in Doc's class. When Nikki used to sing the Little Mermaid song...wait...USED to sing?....she still does! And when everyone got quiet in Physics to listen to her do her "Bastian impression." (Oh, you remember! In Neverending Story...Bastian! Bastian! Call my name!...I can't! I have to keep my feet on the ground! ^_^) And who could forget the time she got up in the middle of Physics to take a picture of the class...all of whom had fallen asleep! Or the time Doc got a little peeved about her using markers during class. Come to think of it...we really had a lot of fun in that class. :o)
And all because of Nikki. I can't even begin to imagine how boring my life would be without her. I wish I could move to Florida too! But I plan on visiting! Road trip!
It's hard enough that Monica is gone to Tennessee right now, and possibly off to California over the summer, but now Nikkita is leaving. At least Judy is still here!! (Don't you DARE think of moving Judith! LoL)
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm going to miss you. And that we WILL keep in touch...no "we'd BETTER keep in touch," or, "I HOPE we keep in touch." We WILL keep in touch.
Have fun in Florida!! Meet lots of hot guys!! Get a kick-ass job at Ron Jon's surf shop!! And never forget us!
