I think I embarassed my mom the other day.
We were at Wallmart just lookin around and this lady was giving out free sample-kits. And they were like these "feminine" kits. She gave one to my mom and I grabbed it to see what was it in. There was a box of those new Pearl tampons and when I saw those I looked at my mom and said (in a conversational tone) "Are YOU a pearl girl?"
It should be noted here that I occasionally lack shame and say random things.
My mom was like: "?" (Yes..it was exactly like that.)
I pointed at the kit so she could see what I was talking about. "Tampax Pearl," I said, "Are you a pearl girl?! Cause I am!!" I then proceeded to sing the song from the commercials. Not embarassingly loud or anything, but I think my mom was embarassed.
Hehehe...and you think she'd be used to it after nearly 19 years.
