Back in December...I was on christmas break so I was back to working full time at good ol' Rite Aid. The drive through buzzer went off but I was already occupied at the computer entering prescription data so Bonnie went over to get it. I heard the person outside speak; it was muffled but it sounded like they said "Ondrey...with an "O". Walking away from the window and going over the bins to get the requested prescription I heard Bonnie mumble "No shit, I thought it was Ondrey with a "P".
About two weeks ago...
The drive through buzzer went off and as I am the only technician that works nights I went over to answer it.
"Hi there...picking up?" This is the greeting people generally get from me.
"Yes...Andrey...with an "A".
I'm not sure what exactly went through my mind, but I'm sure it went something like this: See Bonnie, it's a good thing they tell us the first letter.
I still smile when I think about that.
